Brenna Faith Shannon was born Au- gust 11, 2002 in Indianapolis Indiana to Jenifer Chastain and Patrick Shannon.
At the age of 9, she was asked to sing the National Anthem for her father’s non-profit organization, Helping Hands for Freedom at their charity events to raise money to help Gold Star Families, whose spouses were killed in the line of duty. After she per- formed the National Anthem for Helping Hands for Freedom, she started performing the National Anthem.
At the age of 11, she performed with Nelly at a benefit concert. One year later at the age of 12, when her father, SSG Patrick Shannon, Co-Founder of Helping Hands for Freedom and a Double Purple Heart Marine veteran, was honored for his service to Gold Star families as well as his heroism during Veteran’s week, Brenna Faith was invited to sing the National Anthem on The Hallmark Channel Home and Family TV show.
Her writing is far beyond her age. Brenna Faith has been writing songs since the age of 12.
In 2016 at the age of 13, Brenna Faith recorded Daddy’s Gone, History, and Messages, which made up her 3 track EP and had tremendous sales. After taking a 5-year break, Brenna Faith wrote and released a single that she dedicated to victims and survivors of sexual assault called One Day, which was produced by Grammy nominated producer Marc Johnson at The Pop Machine Studio.
During her 5-year break Brenna Faith has continued to perform with various artist, such as, Carson Diersing, The Beatles cover band, Sun Kings in San Francisco. She opened up for Willis Clan in Arizona and has sang at several festivals, including the Steve Jeffries Caboose festival.
Brenna Faith has also performed at a 4th of July concert at Hoosier Park Casino in Anderson, IN, and with Willis Clan in Shelbyville, IN. She continues to perform the National Anthem for several Military Veteran support organizations.
